Building Permits & Inspections

Our Deputy Clerk and Building Inspector are committed to assisting residents and contractors with construction projects in an efficient, professional, and accountable manner. They oversee the permitting process for all construction projects, conduct required inspections, and issue Certificates of Occupancy. Fire prevention services are provided through the Flaming Gorge Fire and EMS.

The Deputy Clerk and Building Inspector are responsible for:

• Conducting building construction inspections
• Issuing building permits
• Issuing Certificates of Occupancy
• Reviewing building plans
• Working directly with the Planning and Zoning Commission
